The half moon hung low in the sky, an ominous feeling had already crept over the two-leg settlement. Dark clouds gathered in the heavens, drifting in front of the pale orb, only for it to appear again when the cloud passed, before large droplets of water began to fall. Bane sat solidly upon a fire escape step, his own eyes lifted to look at the goings on above. Oh how he longed for forests and freedom, rather than the loud noises of this city. Even here in the almost disused corners of civilisation, homeless two-legs would cluster. The wolf's tawny eyes landed on a suspicious bundle of rags grumbling to itself, then from behind an overflowing dumpster he heard a reply very much the same. 'Two-legs..' he thought in disgust, and turned away from the creatures wallowing in their own self-pity.
Against the light of the moon, his form looked immense. Although wolves of his type were in general large, Bane was especially so. A thick pelt of grey and flaxen fur adorned his muscular stature, and although unkempt it seemed to add to his untamed look. Bane was handsome, it had to be said, although several scars were plainly visible on his face, and also hidden beneath his pelt. One word over all could describe him. Rugged. A bachelor though and through, and even as he walked he seemed to command power from those he passed. Strays in the street would cower away, even those ex-show dogs that were bigger than him.
There was something about him, something in his eyes that others feared. Was it the years of knowledge they could see in them? Was it the piercing gaze that chilled even the bravest to the bone? None could choose a reason; perhaps it was a combination of all of these things. The wolf kept these eyes straight ahead as he descended to the street floor. A dog nearby jumped away with a yelp at his appearance, burrowing into a stack of rubbish. But Bane walked calmly, he didn't snap or growl to demand attention like some might. He saw the lights ahead, of the city, and could smell their food and hear their loud voices. The alley ended here, and ahead was a road, on either side the two-leg shops and restaurants stood, packed or with the humans standing in lines outside.
Bane watched with little interest as they busied themselves with their fowl smelling vehicles, before roaring away in a cloud of putrid fumes. His sensitive nose wrinkled, snorting he sunk onto his haunches, shifting his front paws every now and then to prevent the cold seeping in and turning them numb. Behind him he heard a squabble between two strays, over a dead rat, and Bane watched them with contempt. ''It's poisoned, you idiots'' he said as they ripped the dead creature in half and gobbled it down greedily. Immediately after they herd the cold rumble of the loner’s voice, they looked at each other nervously and began retching, then vanished into the depths of the alleyway. But the wolf remained where he was, fur matted by the heavy rainfall and staring unblinkingly at the mass of two-legs on the streets.

S W I T C H B L A D E He shivered in the freezing rain, this damp alley he'd passed by several times, snapping at any and all things that moved, he paced the entrance, paying no heed to it's inhabitants "how could he, w- wh- why would he do- what did i ever do to-" he growled under his breath, the humans grumbbled for him to shut up, he snarrled and silenced them, the dogs gazed at him in a state of confusion "and what are you ass lickers looking at!?" the dogs turn from him in fear, and return to their buisness. Another dog glanced at him, but only for a brief moment before looking back at the ground, Switchblade didn't care he charged into the alley blindly "you want to fight?!" he snarrled, clamping down on the beagal's neck. The small dog struggled to free himself "no, let me go! please don't hurt me!" he yelped, his pleas like music to Switchblade's ears " go ahead and struggle while my fangs tear deeper into ur neck with every pull! and please feel free to keep screaming, that is my favorite kind of music, it's delicious!" he growled through his teeth. The beagal froze in his maw, trying to not even breathe, his shuddering breaths alone sounded frightened. "it's poisoned you idiots!" the voice rang behind the snow white brutte, he dropped his victim who scampered off yelping like a puppy. He watched two dogs run past him snapping at the one closest to him, then spun around to see another wolf, a brutte probably younger than her, but almost just as big as himself. "hey bastard, who the hell do you think you are? these streets'll belong long to Venganza soon, this is gonna be my alley!" he barked angrily. He trotted up to the gray brutte his heavy paws splashing over the soggy wet ground , he stopped only an inch before him "we're not going to have any problems are we?" he barked, pulling his lip back revealing his two rows of sharp ivory fangs.

As was usual amongst the cramped life in the ally, there was always one that got ahead of himself. Be it wandering stray, pack-dog or rouge. There was always one. Tonight, the one causing the ruckus really was making a name for himself amongst the dishevelled piles of black bin bags. From where Bane sat with his back to the frenzy, he listened absent-mindedly to the headstrong remarks of this new ‘bully’. Because that’s all the big talkers ever were. Pathetic, time wasting, bullies. They hurt others in order to gain control, even the innocent who got in their way. The wolf kept his eyes watching the two-legs. As he studied the masses, the wolf saw a wandering human pup, dressed in all pink and frills. Its plump face and rosy cheeks caused and a long pink tongue washed over Bane's dark maw at the opportunity for a meal.
Only after a seconds thought did he dismiss these musings. If he were the one to kill a human pup then the whole race of man would come crashing down on the canines of this city, in one bloodthirsty wave. But oh no, it was okay for the two-legs to kill wolf pups and even the very dogs they created and tamed were liable to be murdered. Humans truly did bemuse the wolf, of all the things in this wide world. A mother suddenly scooped the wailing human pup up in her fleshy arms and vanished into the crowd again. At this he decided to go and find some food. He'd found a sheep farm on the outskirts of the human land, were he knew lambs would be easy to pick off.
As the grey brute readied to merge himself with the shadows, something white flew at him. All fangs and wild eyes. Bane stood looking at the wolf in front of him, a look of disdain crossed his face as he looked at the brute who had confronted him. ''You ask a lot of questions for one so sure of himself.'' The wolf stated, recalling the earlier explosions of sound, he now put down to this individual who seemed to be squaring Bane up for a fight already. At the mention of Venganza a memory formed in the timber wolf's mind, but it had been a long time ago. And even now the thought was damaged and he couldn’t seem to place it. Shrugging it off, Bane maintained his eye contact with the aggressor.
As the young wolf ahead drew back his lips in a snarl, Bane gave a short chuckle. ''Problems?'' Bane said in mocked wonder, a puzzled expression on his face as he leaned closer to the male. Then the expression changed to one of sick humour, and now the wolf drew back his own lips, but into a smile. ''That depends if you count me ripping your throat out a 'problem'.'' Bane added in a whisper, he felt no need to be loud now he was so close to this other wolf. Instead Bane let the threat hang there before brushing roughly past the white wolf. Golden eyes boring into the very pelt of the male. Bane was expecting something, either a retort or for the other wolf to follow and attack. Either way, something was about to happen in this small, fairly insignificant ally.

-- K A s t A ! Baby, I can see Your Halo.
Audits perked, chocolate orbs scanning the harsh and horrifying scene. I listened in content. How rude and obnoxious dogs were getting. As more humans showed the dogs seemed to be getting aggresive, not to mention rude. I laid in my corner, listening to the wind's harmful secrets. Not many Venganza dared travel without the pack, but I guess that's what happens when you're put to the test on survival. Of course, if half of them weren't so dumb witted they would probably see the our land-- once holding a beautiful landscape, was going to be destroyed by these creatures that dared enter our land and claim it as their own.
Head turned, cocked, I listened for any sign of life. Anything to tell me that I wasn't alone. Radors went off as I caught onto a conversation. '' We're not going to have a problem.. are we? ''
Well, I'll be damned. My own kind fought each other most often, until they found a way to get away. At the end though, everything was bloody. They would kill the innocent. All for respect. You see, Venganza had a code, you get your respect when you earn it. But some of those brutes took it to heart and well, earning became murder. Being the noisey child here I took notice to their threats, one by one they threatened but no attack. So I would step in. Show time.
Crouched low, golden, grey pelt hitting the soil. I was indeed tired of the childish games. The stupid, nonsense that went on here. I made my way to the alley, without being noticed. The larger one turned to leave while the other bathed in his threat. Ugh, boys.
He turned, obviously having enough of the arguement, but I stopped him. '' You, wolf boy, you obviously don't have much of an IQ, hm? I worked damn hard to get this relationship going with the humans and you think I'm going to let you take that away by killing some ignorant fool and having the humans announce us as 'murders'. Because, I really am not in the mood for your bullshit, understood? So, you either die here or walk away as a civilized being. But eh, I always liked killing with no pity. No mercy.''
Charming he was, I can't say how long I stood there, looking into his gorgeous jewels. I was in heat and of course my scent was causing attention to rouse up. Tail tucked to plug the scent but it was no use, sooner or later they could track it. His name, ah yes, I had heard it once or twice from the loners and Venganza, Bane; they called him. The name played in my mind like a broken recorder.
Love is such a cruel master.

How dare he? talk crap to a dog such as he? "don't dare talk your shit to me! I'd like to see you rip my throat out before i mutilate your pathetic face!" he barked angrily. He had no sympathy for anyone who... no he had no sympathy at all, not for women, possibly for pups, but definatly no sympathy for dogs who held no respect toward him, and this dog was no exception. He started to trot after the gray brutte to get his message through, but a fae- quite a strange one at that- stood in his path. She spoke just as much worthless trash as the male did, perhaps they were mates.
"listen i don't have a grudge with you at the moment, so i won't hurt you now. But stay out of my way!" he shoved past the fae and continued after his first priority- the brutte with an attitude. He opened his maw to bark another few threats, but a scent filled his nose, a beautiful scent that he hadn't smelled in quite awhile, When the fae brushed against him, she confirmed his suspision. This fae was in heat. It was such a beautiful scent, but he had no time for her, she was only getting in his way and he wouldn't have it.
He roughly brushed past her with a snort "not today my little bitch" He barked and continued after his first priority, the smart mouthing brutte that dared speak back to him. He quickened his pace to a run and leapt at the brutte hoping to bite down on his neck and drag him down to the ground if he hit. He was going to be taught a lesson.

Giving a small grin,I snickered at how easily you could make this stud angry. He had a kinky, 'bad boy' personality to him, Just my type. I gave him a wink and ignored his thrusts to move onward, past me. Slowly I wrapped my scent-tainted tail along side his neck and under his chin, slowly circling him, holding a seductive grin. Obviously words wouldn't get through to this brute so I would have to use the good `ol flirt. Without another word I pressed my body on top his, shoving him to the ground. I got on all fours, but still hovered over him. '' Dont test me, boy. I can do much more damage to you, and by the looks of it your life is already fucked.'' Feeling satisfied I left him, to bask in the shocking announcement.
As I did the task of bravery I let him get just a bit of a scent he couldn't have. No, I didn't want to look like a whore. But I wanted him to suffer by knowing I was in heat and he could do nothing about it, because I am the superior wolf. Gosh, why am I so mean?
Without another word I trailed after the other male, I wanted to see him again, to admire his gorgeous figure from afar. But obviously the other male would see to stopping me. I mean, who's going to let a female in heat escape from their grasp? Honestly.
But, this other male wouldn't be as easy to manipulate. He wouldn't fall for a sweet scented female who was crushing on him. No way.
