Zeno
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] Nickname ;; -- Age ;; 3 years Gender ;; Male Breed ;; Dog Sub-breed ;; Koolie Pack ;; Loner. Rank ;; --
Personality ;; He is a very amiable dog when he wants to be, but he can be rather cold at times. He is also somewhat slow in speaking, namely because he thinks every word through before he says anything. He spends a lot of his time day-dreaming --his favorite pastime-- and takes some pleasure in imagining horrible things happening to anyone/thing he dislikes. He also imagines a lot of crazy things to fend off boredom. Before his eyes, swooping birds become attacking bats, and cats sprout more legs then they normally have. He also has a habit of talking to random objects and even his food. Although he is a loner, he has a keen sense of loyalty, and though he doesn't stay with a lot of his friends, he will rush to any dog or wolf he has befriended if they are in need, and will try to defend them to the best of his abilities. History ;; Zeno came from a litter of 5 Koolie puppies, all of whom had been shoved into a box as soon as they didn't need their mother and were taken to a shelter for puppies without homes. Zeno, was adopted by a loving owner several days after, and he lived with the young girl for the first year of his life. The girl had a great imagination, and she spoke to him all day, telling him wonderful stories. Though he couldn't understand quite everything she said, he still listened as best as he could, and developed a sense of imagination of his own. That was the happiest year of his life. All too soon, he was taken away from her. Her parents were moving and of course she had to come with them, as young as she was. But Zeno, was left behind. He was taken away in a car to a place he did not know. The girl hugged him for a very long time, then she removed his collar, pushed him a few steps forward while saying something he couldn't understand, then got into a car and drove away. The next year was hard, as Zeno tried to join several packs, but failed to. Eventually, the alpha of one pack told him that he was suited only to being a loner, and that pack life would never be easy for him. Zeno had to admit, what the other dog had said was true. He had a sense of loyalty, but knew nothing of teamwork. The third year of his life was surprisingly easy. He had, by then, accepted that he would not be able to join a pack, and, though lonely, was starting to get used to living on his own. His imagination helped ease the pain of being abandoned, keeping him constantly amused, and he found that rummaging through trash was nearly always a good food-source, if it wasn’t too rotten.
