 It was a warm day, the forest was filled with different, good smells- and birds were singing, making a symphony. Earlier that morning, at had been a pack of wolves, singing together, while the moon was going down. The life couldn't be better, in the woods. The only problem was, Athena wasn't in the forest with her pack, she hadn't howled with them, she hadn't heard the birds sing or seen how beautiful the forest was today. She was in a place, which was totally the opposite. The Dark Sidewalk.
She had found a cave, that night, The same night as the man with the gun had tried to kill her, but she and the other's ended up nearly killing him. But, he deserved it. And Athena had a good time, with her new chewing toy. Even if he easily got broken, he probably lost that arm, too.
Athena's head, was just pointing out of the cave. She would be easy to see, as the cave was dark grey, nearly black, and herself she was white. But no humans was in sight, noramlly, it was no humans at the Dark Sidewalk. Sometimes, but very rare. So being here should be rather safe. Athena hadn't seen anyone this night, or this morning. No danger, it was finally a bit peaceful here. She was still a bit tired, after yeserday. A lot had happened then. But she started to wonder, if any day could be calm, when she heard someone coming behind her. And she recognized the voice, too. Toklo. |
